Steve Key: Hello!

Steve Key is an award-winning songwriter, performer and recording artist. He produces concerts, hosts songwriters showcases, manages the West Coast Songwriters Competition in San Luis Obispo CA, and teaches songwriting. "Steve Key has done more for the singer-songwriter scene in SLO Town than just about anyone in recent memory. In addition to hosting songwriting competitions, he’s been using his considerable connections to bring great acoustic performers to the area." -- Glen Starkey, New Times weekly, March 2008.

New York-based folk-rock band The Voyces play the featured set on our weekly showcase. Led by singer-songwriter Brian Wurschum and vocalist Jude Kastle, The Voyces received international exposure when one of their songs, “Relate To Me,” was included in Jack Johnson’s “Thicker Than Water” film and soundtrack. Two of the band's songs also found their way into the feature film, "National Lampoon’s Adam & Eve" and the television show, "Monarch Cove."
